Message from Founder/CEO

Kuzuzangpo la!

We are happy to share that BAOWE along with our members are keenly working towards transitioning Rural farmers into Grassroots Rural Entrepreneur Women (GREW). With the recent election to the EC Board of the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. I will endeavor to represent the informal sector in the BCCI presenting its challenges and aspirations, creating a network that will optimize benefits towards the promotion of the informal sector in Bhutan.

With the deepest of gratitude to our developments partners, Project-funded, BAOWE prides itself in being solutions providers. Through the establishment of self-help groups (SHGs), identifying commercially viable crops, establishing value-add centers, launching BAOWE Pelzhing, a microbank with bundled insurance services, introducing BAOWE Pure as a first step brand training GREW in the nuances of transparency, accountability, and ownership. Our members grow in confidence and have become aware of their potential and capacity as they prepare to join the mainstream economy of Bhutan.

In preparation for the Gelephu Mindfulness City and the amazing market opportunities that will unfold, BAOWE is promoting project 27 Acres aimed at stimulating GREW to scale up production, drive down costs , present a dependable robust supply chain strengthening their position as a leader in the naturally organic global markets.

We welcome you to join in our adventure!

With Best Wishes
